It's nice that they've been trying to restore the water to a healthier environment for the animals. The people will also benefit of course.
We're trying desparately to improve the Chesapeake Bay, but it's a long and difficult journey. They do analysis each year but I haven't heard of much significant improvement thus far. The oysters which filter the bay water have been dying from disease and over harvesting. They believe the disease was brought here from boats in Japan among other things.

My rubber duck won second place at ?Quack The Rouge? 2014. The
Trophies are all hand made from parts of the Rouge River, also included is four
VIP tickets to the Phoenix Theatres. It was a fun day at the second annual
Rouge-A-Palooza.
