You are on the good way, your conversion is not perfect but like pro making conversion I can tell you it is much better some sold by "3D pro" competitors I have in France.
Personally I use a Photoshop plug-in made by my partner 3D movie video maker (we do also short 3Ds movie conversion, camera shoot and computer 3D) and this plug-in (pro secret) permit to separate first all part of the image into several layers ( 5 to 12 or more if necessary), than to apply on each a depth map, than to mixing all depth map with adjustment.
This need three days to five days of intensive attention. We can do also two perspectives frames, three or 24 for a lenticular.

I discover gradually Stereomasken on my ACER laptop with polarized screen during I stay too with my mother when she was to hospital (she was 94 years old).
Last days we past with our mother is important.

It has been a while since I last checked in here. My mother was just discharged from the hospital again with another bout of pneumonia, and she is back at the nursing home. This time, she had a collapsed left lung, and they were not able to bring the lung back to normal. She is now on oxygen 24/7, and she is still coughing badly at times. I could never seem to match their level of achievement. Attached in my latest attempt. It is of an aeronautical painting that I found online. I know that there are some problems with this image, so be kind. I'm still trying to learn. I just got tired of working on it and decided to call it quits for this one and go on to another image.
