TKS Ray, Stereomasken do more quickly a distort window than Photoshop. But to distort text and change some part in the picture, only Photoshop can do.
Snake in front of the head or head in front of the snake, reduce a positive parallax... only Photoshop can do actually.

Floating right border only to avoid a WV of the snake
(like use very often on 3D movies, but in total darkness this pass better than with white around).

I made my first distort window accidentally in 1983 because using aluminum scotch (to repair car) on slide 24x36 mm to reduce some picture to 24x32... 24x28 mm.
But one aluminum band badly stick give me for result a nice distort window on a cloud Pict (cha-cha from plane) and I discover this permit pop-up same as if cut by the lateral borders and no WV.
So my first (and last one) slide show to the French stereo club had some distort windows, but they don't like it and only a part of spectators stand up for applause and other part stay on seats and stay silences. Later, somebody explained to me I gone over the rules and this had not been appreciated. Rules are here to go over! That my opinion.
Today people start also to use blurred border, so no more WV, but some old French dinosaurs stereo club's members don't like it anymore :-P

To make a distort window  (permitting cut border pop_up)  permit also to reduce a too hard positive parallax.

This one bellow made by Photoshop many years ago before Stereomasken come.
The black down part is pop-up.

Also made with Photoshop on a French stereo list member's Pict.

3D conversion for a zoo... Specimen under Copyright)

The text say "French humor" : you will take a drink ... a glass (glass =
verre)... but ver in French is also the animal in his mouth.
