Thanks for commenting Ray.  Sudlersville is also a very small town.  The thing is, if they put a school in the town, then kids from all over the county come to it because it's so rural.

One of my strongest memories is when NASA's Gemini program started... We would take field trips to local homes near the school to watch the launch on TV.

When they consolidated four High Schools into one, Queen Annes County High School (QACHS), I traveled 26 miles one-way by bus to get to school.

Coming back home from the Eastern Shore of Maryland just 5 days after Christmas, I road through the town of Sudlersville where I attended grade school as a child.  Approaching the "four corners" of the town, I noticed the memorial statue of baseball great, Jimmy Foxx had been adorned with the Christmas spirit!  I stopped to capture the moment.
