Leaving boats in the water year-round seems to be a newer trend. Good thing they are well protected from wind and waves.

My neighbor's boathouse with the snow-covered frozen water of White's Cove. You can see Oak Pt. Harbor marina in the background.
I wanted to keep the foreground because of the snow and it's texture, plus it helps the composition to prevent the image from being divided in half but of course there's not much in the way of stereo relief in the foreground although the texture does help some in that regard.
I added the floating window for the purpose of lessening deviation since the image was a little hyper. I'm pleased with the overall results.
The surface looks like it could be earth but I wouldn't trust walking on the ice of this cove.
