Here?s what I think made the tracks, or at least something of this type. The tracks were about a foot apart, and during sharp turns left multiple tracks. They also made much sharper turns than would be possible on skis.

Of course, this is just a guess, since whatever made them was gone.

Since things have been quiet, here?s one that had me wondering for a while. Shot up near Donner Summit, I came across these odd tracks. I ski a lot, but had never seen tracks like these. I think I?ve figured them out, but thought it might be a fun little mystery.
