Thanks to those
who commented on my previous post (Walking Tours Sign)...
On the 19th of
May I went to Annapolis and for the first time I entered the grounds of the US
Naval Academy. The purpose for going there was to see the Blue Angels
practice before the performance scheduled for the following day. Traffic
was adversely affected because of the event which draws large crowds along the
Severn River which borders the shores of the academy.
I've seen them in
the area before such as last year's event over Baltimore city, but where I was
located for photographing at that time (at Fr. Armistead), was really too far
away for very good shots. I must say, that being at the forefront of their
show Tuesday was quite a thrilling spectacle.
I took many 2D shots in RAW
format an so far have only processed a couple. The attached image is the 2nd one
I've processed and I added the moon for artistic enhancement and
composition. I converted a version today into 3D crossview and 3D anaglyph
stereos and was glad I had added the moon for stereo relief and point of
reference.
