I travel through
Harrington Delaware on the way to my brother's house in Milford DE. I have
passed this house each time I go through Harrington and have always wanted to
stop and capture some pictures of it. I was usually in a hurry, or it was
too dark plus the fact that I wasn't sure if it was vacant or not.
Memorial Day, it happened that I was traveling back home after visiting family
and while passing through Harrington, the sun was still out and I decided it was
a good time to give an effort to at least getting a few quick shots of the
front.
I parked across the street and walked to the property and took a
few shots from different angles. This image just happened to be one with
the house filling the frame so I created a stereo from a cha cha.
I would
like to go inside sometime. The house appears to have had multiple
extensions added to it over
the years on the back side, creating an unusually long back end (hidden from
this angle).
I also did a version in grayscale which I like just as
well.
I did have to clone some areas where the sunlight and shadows were
out of sync a bit.
Cha cha, Nikon D600, PS-CS6,
ACR, SPM, IrfanView.
Cheers,
Brian
