Oceanfront at the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

This is Ocean Front property (facing the Atlantic Ocean).

We've probably all seen these type of fences around dunes at the ocean. I think they're suppose to help control the dunes and erosion. People are not supposed to climb on these dunes as the limited plant growth also helps reduce erosion as well as habitat for certain marine life.
