Nice 3D shoot Larry of a female Mallard
duck. In France we call it "Col-vert" (green neck). Generally such
wild duck coming in my pond in France to have baby, but they don't
let human approach too much (not under 120" generally), except
some feeding by human since they are baby.
I got 14 Mallard ducks some year in my pond (and I made some 3D
slides shoot also of baby's), but when they are adults they change
of place to meet others ducks, to found a male or a female. But
the female could come back to have his baby's in the same pond she
is born. Your duck must be a female (the male in winter have a
green emerald head...not in summer, so only the yellow of his beak
is more yellow the female beak (female have a beak yellow-green
and some black spots). But like the Dubois anaglyph mode tint
yellow/green everything, it is hard to make the comparison.
Why no to send also MPO file on my international
3D-TV(-at-)yahoogroupes.fr ( Shahrock is member MPO is easy to use
with SPM for tablet, 3DTV, 3D camera's screen).
In my seaside country side near the Atlantic sea we have a natural
park of 99.000 acres with 17.000 wetland area (really look like
Everglade, but without alligators), with millions of birds and
many, many Mallard ducks. People living their use during hunting
season a female (one leg attach under water) to hunting the male
coming for sex. When the female see the male his cry is very
impressive.
They mask their boat and guns by reed (crass), also use to built
their roof (see file).

This friendly duck posed for me in a pond at
Greenfield Village. It just swam towards me when I was
taking pictures over a bridge, was not afraid of me at
all.
