I was tempted to title this one "Moonstruck!".

Not the best one I've ever done but was in the mood for a little creativity.

I took the image of the tree in bright sunlight while on a trip in North Carolina.  This was a tree at the location of the Bodie Island Lighthouse Station in Nags Head, NC.  I took a cha cha with this fantasy concept in mind.  I gave it much more base than I really intended.

I darkened the image to simulate late evening or night.  I added the moon and stars (paintbrushes).  I cloned the moon in SPM to give it depth (converting it from 2D to 3D).  I cloned back the foreground a bit to reduce the stereo base a little and sync the grass.  I clone the stars as well since I did not add them initially in sync.

The 2D version... http://fineartamerica.com/featured/moon-stuck-in-a-tree-brian-wallace.html

Cha cha, Nikon D600, RAW format, Focal Length, 62 mm, PS-CS6, ACR, SPM, IrfanView, digital manipulation.

Cheers,
Brian
