Thanks for the comment Duke.  Yes, the fist is part of that old salute, but of course the arm would be up instead of out.  The guy was full of "blessings" and seemed by his language to be somewhat of a spiritual or religious base.

Cheers,
Brian

Nice TTW shot of him, but I couldn't help but thinking "Black Power" when I saw the fist!

When I was in Baltimore atop Federal Hill, taking pictures of the scenic views, this "runner" had just finished a run and thought by my camera and mono-pod, that I was "obviously" a professional and asked if I would take his picture with his cell phone.  He was (as most people are), surprised when I told him I've never owned a cell phone and to just tell me what to touch to trigger the photo.

I directed him to stand where the sun was not back-lighting him and I could also get a nice background of the Inner Harbor.  He struck a pose that I assumed meant something to whomever he was going to show the picture to.

It reminded me that since he was a willing subject that it might make an effective TTW for 3D stereo so I asked if I could take a couple more shots of him in the same pose with my stereo camera.  He was anxious to oblige.  I showed him the 3D effect on the W1's viewer and he thought it was great.  He asked how he was to get the picture and I gave him my email.  I never saw an email response from him after that however.

This is the cropped down version.  I also kept the "before cropping" version for the wider backdrop of the city-scape.
