I thought I'd better post an image of the actual "Wye Mill" before we get too far along.
This is a view from the back side with the stream leading into the waterwheel.
Summer makes a prettier image but at least there's green grass and ivy growing up the Weeping Willow tree. One advantage of this winter image is less leaves blocking the view of the waterwheel.
When I was a youngster in grade school, we took a field trip to this
grist mill and had a complete demonstration, inside and out.
