First of all, Nick, I loved both your recent shots, Dramatic Arts Shop and Night Church. The yellow cast in the shop did not bother me at all -- it seemed suitable for the deserted, late-night mood. And the stereo base in the church shot was acceptable to me.
Wojtek writes: "Less exposure would be good (and shoot
it RAW, so you'll have a better control in shadows)."
This seems like a good time to ask: among the various file formats, which are the best to use in original shooting, which are the best to convert to for quality printing, which are the best to convert to for digital archiving, and which are the best to convert to for sending as e-mails, posting to Anaglyphs, and displaying on a personal web site? Also, why are these choices the best for a particular purpose?
I'd love to have the benefit of anyone's experience on this to help speed my reluctant transition from film to digital!
Thanks.
