"Playing in the fountain"

 

I guess I'm breaking more rules.  If I am, I beg your pardon.

The background is not in focus to match the subject.

It's a zoomed in shot which may have taken some depth away.

It's not in perfect sync!

Otherwise I like it very much.

It's an attempt to get more up close and personal with the live subject.  I even asked the mother for permission to shoot her son who was playing in the fountain and was a big ham when he saw I was taking his picture.  In another version, I tried coloring in the background to eliminate the out of focus portion knowing the suggestion of the fountain was a part of the subject but also knowing the entire picture should be kept in focus.
