Nice picture, very good 3D. In answer to your question, I run SPM and
sharpen 20 to 40 depending on picture, then I copy to Ifran a
freeware program. Only sharpen picture when you have the size you
want.
I usually shoot at 1600 X 1200 and resize to 800 by 600 my monitor
size.
Hope this helps.

larger than 1024 X 768. I usually set my camera to take shots at 1600
X1200. My camera goes to 3072 X 2304 but SPM auto adjust shuts the
program down (not enough memory I'm sure). If I could, I would prefer
to take shots a large as possible and allow more options for
cropping. At any rate, 1600 X 1200 seems to be OK to start with. I
really would rather not go smaller.

Sharpening with SPM helps some, but the original quality is
compromised. Sharpening after resizing sometimes make the smaller
picture look grainier. Overall, the end results just don't look as
good as the larger size. Any suggestion regarding this problem would
be appreciated.

set to 1280 X 960, so a post at 1024 X 768 looks considerably
smaller. Once in a while Brian mistakenly posts one larger. I always
like the larger version better. Do most of you really have your
screen set to 1024 X 768? I would much rather keep my posts as big as
possible or at least big enough to fill my screen. Any thoughts?
BTW,,,this one is slightly bigger.
