Very nice Spaceman. A lovely flower! If I could suggest an experiment... try bringing the image into Photoshop (or similar editor) and giving only the whiteness of the flower some contrast or darkening in order to see more details and highlights. If you have Photoshop CS-2, it has a nice feature that may help in this regard called Highlight/Shadows.

Since they open in the late afternoon and shrivel up soon after dawn, it is hard to get a good available light photo of these flowers. In this shot you can see several stages of the development from a tiny bud, through a larger bud, a bud that will open tonight, and the fully open flower.
