It's a little dark and hazy maybe by your choice but a bit ghosty too,Spaceman, specially in a cyan chanell.So,why you don't have a photoshop?!!

I don't have photoshop, but paintshop has shadows/midtones/highlights which sounded close enough, so I turned down the highlights in the chips. For some reason the flower has grown through my screen in the meantime.

If I could suggest an experiment... try bringing the image into Photoshop (or similar editor) and giving only the whiteness of the flower some contrast or darkening in order to see more details and highlights. If you have Photoshop CS-2, it has a nice feature that may help in this regard called Highlight/Shadows.
