Although I photographed the Great Swamp extensively
for years in stereo, this is the first time I did so using digital
equipment. From studying these results
I concluded that it's best to
ALWAYS use flash for better color endition and control
over grain (which was not the case for this series). Of course this rule
can't be applied to the vast majority
who use twin cameras, but if one either is using a
true, film-based stereo camera, or, as in my case-a beam-splitter, all-flash,
all the time is the best way
to shoot.
I later applied this knowledge to other events that
I'll be posting shortly. Believe me, it works!
