At first glance this looks like a fractal-generated image, but it's not. I attended a laser show at the U. of L. planetarium Saturday evening, and took this shot by aiming my camera at the ceiling, and holding the shutter open for eight seconds. This is the result of the collective laser tracings. The original image was flat, of course, so I generated this false depth by using the skew and warp tools in Photoshop.
