Thanks Mike. http://www.gravitram.com/Images%205/HOW%20TO%20CREATE%20PHANTOGRAMS%20for%20screen.pdf is the tutorial I read. Short and sweet, once I found the right tools in my copy of photoshop7. I'd guess it'll work in most versions up to CS3.  It's about the size of the pictures we post, 385K or so.
