Named after French-Speaking Canadians who emigrated
in the Eighteenth Century to what is now
the State of Louisiana, Cajuns today are a vital
part of the New Orleans/Louisiana cultural scene. On this,
the fifth day of The Harvest Festival, Cajun
culture and (yum) food was the theme.
As people stream into the Harvest Festival they are
given a beaded necklace to get them in the mood for all things
Cajun.
