I took advantage of my membership and visited the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens on both Saturday and Sunday. I live not too far from the place. I took along my trusty LIAC, but I also took along my regular zoom lens. Since there were not too many people, I figured I could get some good cha-cha shots in. I am posting a series of cha-cha's which I think came out pretty good. Since it was kind of cold and grey, ghosting should not be a problem.
I ran into a guy who was with a group of other guys who all seemed to be into photography. He noticed my LIAC lens and asked about it. we had a lengthy conversation about stereo photography. I thought it was great being able to chat about my passion.
It's been a very long while since I posted, so I'm kind of making up for lost time. Here is he 1st of 18 shots I'm posting over the course of the evening.
This is my buddy Clive, who came along with me. I need to teach him how to remain absolutely still for 2 shots. Most of them came pout poorly because he shifted some part of his body, or eyes. This was pretty decent, except for the tear in his jeans in a not so discreet place.
