I agree with you on this one, Marshall, a minimum amount of motion blur might be acceptable, but there's too much of it in my picture.  I enjoyed reading the varied responses, though, some positive, some negative.

I recently played for a wedding with a string quartet.  I can't decide whether the motion blur in this available-light shot of the cellist adds or detracts.  It's certainly obvious that she was actually playing when I grabbed this candid.  Intentional WV to eliminate ghosting on main subject.
