Very interesting piece, and hats off to Salvador Dali for making a stab at stereo. Well documented.

Once again from a recent Christie's auction. I had to shoot this one, as it incorporated a stereo viewer into the work. By Salvador Dali, it's title is "Perspective Filaire, Oeuvre Stereoscopique," and was made in 1974. It measures 30 inches long. It makes an interesting object, with its plastic eyeball model, but as a stereo image/viewer it leaves something to be desired. I have to give Dali credit for at least trying to incorporate stereo into his work. It was part of the collection of Louis Markoya.
