By default I have all jpg files open with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I have on occasion opened one of my posts on a PC that defaults to Internet Explorer to view jpgs. When opened in Internet Explorer, the picture is re-sized to fit much less than the full window and it is full of compression artifacts. When I click and enlarge it in IE, the artifacts disappear and it looks fine. I noticed that is not the case with some from others in the group when I intentionally open with Internet Explorer. I always use no compression ghosting in SPM. I generally re-size to 1024 X 768. What am I doing wrong when saving?
My shots look fine to me in the program I view them in, but I would like them to look as good for anyone opening in Internet Explorer.
Any help is appreciated.
The post is a shot of Maine woods in the Spring. If open with IE, I think you will see what I am takling about. Click and enlarge and it is fine??
