I've been to many auto shows in New York, but this by far was the most
crowded. My theory behind this mass madness is that the United States is
in a serious economic downslide, and people are getting out to enjoy while
they can. Gasoline prices seem to peak each day, and we're paying more
for everything. I suspect that many people went to the show to look, but
not to buy.
