I don't think I've seen a normal-sized person in any of his art. Some months (years?) ago I submitted an image of his son on a hobby horse. Even his son was depicted as obese. That's his "thing." Maybe it's symbolic, as though he sees people as "bursting with possibilities" or "full of promise" or some such.

It's obvious that Botero didn't like skinny people!  :-)  Nice anaglyph.
