Thanks Larry,
This year I haven't seen many bunnies at all.  Two years ago there were a bunch around.  Every year there are many many squirrels though.  I keep taking pictures of them but I usually try not to post them unless I think they're better than usual.  It's very difficult to get close shots without the DOF being bad for the background.  Often the work to clear the background in PS is unsatisfactory or takes forever, so I just keep the squirrel photos to myself.  Here's an example of what I mean, taken yesterday the same time I found the rabbit.

Brian, and outstanding nature shot, I know how hard it is to capture
a shot like this. You must have alot of bunnies around your house.

even if I knew the stereo base if it would be practical.  I think the
Zoom would have a lot to do with the accuracy.  So, I usually take
more than a couple of shots at varying degrees apart, probably a foot
apart in this case.  Of course, with a bunny that moves you're lucky
to get a few shots off before it's out of sync.  Using the zoom lens
means I probably have to go further apart than usual and toe in a
little, (different then a normal cha cha).  Because of the DOF being
so limited as well and the focus is pin-pointed, it's very easy to
miss the right spot with body movement etc.
