I'm sure the reason is because I don't know the proper way to align in Photoshop. I overlapped the two inserts and tried the 50% opacity and tried to align them. I also made the opacity 100% and switched between the two images to align what was off. To make the two inserts the same size, after trying to align them I used the Elliptical Marquee Tool around both at the same time and erased the outer edges. I really just guessed at positioning each one on a separate leaf which was later aligned in SPM. I know there's a grid that probably could have helped in PS but I did not use it.

It's a good second try although now I notice that there is deviation in the insert, although not too

noticeable due to its smaller size than the overall picture. Still, an imaginative view.

Some people mentioned that I was on the right track with the previous post but the image just didn't quite make the grade. I agreed because of my inexperience with Photoshop. Today I spent more time on the image and although I still don't know enough about the correct techniques to produce the desired outcome, I think there is some improvement?
