While walking in Riverfront Park near downtown Louisville, KY, I spotted this young photographer engrossed in shooting his subject. The background in this long telephoto shot shows the section of the Pennsylvania R.R. Bridge (completed in 1870) that raises to allow boats to enter the Portland Canal.
'Cardboarding' is inevitable in telephoto shots such as this one.
