Hi
I live some 100 miles north of Duke and we had much less damage and
thus far less than those in the Gulf area.
Feel very sad for those in Texas coastal area.
A lot of damage in this area was to mature trees that are very
vulernable to windstorm damage.
People do not realize that a tree does have a lifetime and need to be
replaced at some time, depending on species.
I have had to remove two very large soft maple trees in the past
decade, each was a 1000$ tree for cutting and removal.
But I had to protect my house and workshop.
Could have bought more camera stuff !
