No, I create a new fill layer in PS (solid color), set the shade of gray, then increase the canvas size enough to put a border around the main image.  I flatten the image, bring r/l images into SPM, then create the FW with the l/r arrow keys.  Then I trim (crop) the border a little, add text with a positive depth to match the plane of the FW.

I pulled into a parking spot facing the afternoon sun.  I noticed my reflection in my other pair of sunglasses above the sun visor.  I sat them on the steering wheel of my Toyota and took this cha-cha (first cha-cha I've taken in months since getting my twin rig :-)
