Thanks for your comments, Marshall.  I have problems with my knees and back and I find it discouraging that I can't get down on the kids level.  

I am trying to figure out this window thing and the coming through issue.  I continue to see when it is evident to others and not to me.  Eye of experience, I assume.

Cute.  Stereo portraits are often most effect (especially with children) when the subject(s) are engaged in doing something, rather than standing still.
Another good approach is to crouch down so that we see them at their level, which provides a greater degree of intimacy and involvement.  Although
not very critical in this view, the foreground floor is coming through the stereo window.

We went to the Halloween at the zoo with my daughter, her husband and their daughter (the penguin) plus our other granddaughter (the duck).  It was interesting and I got some shots with the twin rig.  Lighting was tricky so I had to experiment some.  Hope you enjoy.
