Guglielmo,

First, let me clarify that the anaglyphs are not new works.  Only the presentation is different.  I also try to take into account the language barrier in our group and allow some leeway because of it.

I don't happen to believe creating a Power Point presentation incorporating anaglyphs, puts me anywhere near the 3D master area but thank you for implying it.  I do try to come up with new and different techniques by using my creative ability.

Since most of the images in the PWR PTs were not new, perhaps they indicate a lack of experience in the technical aspect of my anaglyph work to date.  I did however select these few images that I liked from a large number of others available.  I'm sorry they don't possess the high quality you prefer.  I consider myself to still be learning and improving.

I always approach the 3D realm not only as a student, but as an experimenter, often trying things for the first time and sharing the results with the group.  Some succeed and some are less than successful.  I don't particularly try to hide all my flaws but I do try to improve.  At the least with my ideas, my hope is to inspire someone if not impress them, by exploring a facet of 3D which perhaps had not occurred to them before and encourage them to see other avenues (possibilities) they can pursue themselves.  For me, that is one of the greatest values one can obtain from this group.

I would never fool myself into thinking I could please everyone all the time, but I expect most people to keep an open mind and expand their own imagination.

As I incorporate more recent anaglyphs into the Power Point links, perhaps noticeable technical improvements (if I'm lucky) will make them more appealing, although I'm sure they will never be perfect.  I'm afraid the background sound (music) is subjective and unfortunately is limited as a free WAV file resource.  I'm still experimenting and have plans to look for an easy conversion to WAV from other resources.  Still, I know that it will not appeal to everyone, especially with world wide differences in cultural backgrounds.

I've found many criticisms to be irrelevant in relation to subjective material and at the same time, I try to accept what is constructive to help me improve my abilities.  I believe your opinions are well intentioned and I appreciate your candor.

Thank you for the time you took to view and comment on my new projects.

Ciao,
Brian

Hi Brian
sorry for my bad english language.

With this new job you are entered in the 3D master area.
You are now in the olympus of the great 3D people and in this paradise you have won a solid place.

But, and sorry, now (for my modest opinion) is the time to know an important thing.

Looking your new works I see an huge effort to transform all images to a stereo images (but this is not possible).
Many years ago when I work with two stereo cameras I make more 100 click to produce only one stereo photo.

A good stereo image is not a forced transformation of any image but is the result of an attentive selection.

In your images I see an important details and colours destruction, the deghost process that you use give a deghost decrease but the images have a spectral appearence and the background sound transform all things to a vampire film.

I hope you understang my text and my collaborative intentions.
Ciao
Guglielmo

Hello friends,

If interested, you may access an anaglyph Power Point Show (with music), for downloading...

I've also put a link to the download on the Anaglyph Group "Links" section...

Although I used Microsoft Power Point 2007, I created the Power Point Show with a .PPS extension (so it may be compatible with older 1997 - 2003 Power Pt applications).

(This Pwr Pt Show is 10 MB and may take up to 5 minutes to download)

Comments welcome!  If favorable, they may determine if further anaglyph PWR PT shows will be provided.

Cheers,
Brian
