I'm not sure if i have posted this before or not. looks I'm getting old and my memory doesn't help me enough ;-)

These wax sculptures have been inspired from available stone carving found in Persepolis (you see the real stone plate and its carving on my picture background pair).
the sitting person is Xerxes (Khashayar shah) and his son "Ardeshir the 2nd" is standing behind him. the front man has been a messenger. It has been supposed for historians that holding a hand in front of the mouth has been kinda respect or maybe it has been a custom for preventing mouth odor. In 2500 years ago Xerxes was ruling on Persian empire or on half of the world!
Nenuphar flower has been symbol of peace and Xerxes is holding a nenuphar in his left hand too.
On my visit from Persepolis I saw many nenuphar flowers shapes on the Persepolis carvings, here or there! The two guys in the background had been two stranger that had been dressed like messengers. they killed Xerxes in his tent while he was moving toward a new lands to capture the land. Archelogist could clearly explain the history of Hackamaneshi dynasty from the countless carvings they found on Persepolis and other historical sites in iran. Persepolis is a unique place in the world that any interested person in the world must visit it, I believe! There is no where in the world like Persepolis. Regardless the so many clear documents and carvings in Persepolis, a Holliwood director in his stupid movie "300", have showed the Xerxes like an African black savage with bald head and shaved face!
