Dariush & Guglielmo,   Viewing these images side-by-side in Photoshop, I find the comparison very interesting. The original image, as presented by the artist, Dariush, is very typical of his many almost monochrome interpretations. I like it very much, I respect his choice of tones, and quite understand why he might reject the revision as not representing what he saw or wished to portray. The gray is as I imagine these structures to be.   On the other hand, the revision by Guglielmo is, on my monitior, more colorful, with the green grass showing stronger and the structures having a brighter, but less stark (not gray) and more brown (brown-green) appearance.
