A most interesting place we visited this year was the
historical coppermine in Fishbach, Germany.

The added anaglyph may look too dark, but from the shadows you can see
that the ambient light level was very low indeed.
The exposure time was very long too (hence the noise).
The mine was in use from about 1400 till 1790.
All open space you see is handmade and since copper is a metal
the iron tools used had only limited effect
(nowadays all coppermines are open air ones exploited using
explosives).
The mine is located in a very beautiful forest and I never met
friendlier guides. Even the waitress of the gasstatte (place to
drink and eat) did her best to make us feel happy. We loved it !
