I like it; I wouldn't buy it. Most ballerinas are slim. This was an artist's interpretation.

Interesting, but I'd have to more than "kind of like it" to pay $500K for it . . . I'd have to be crazy in love with it and a billionaire, to boot, neither of which obtains. Nope, no bid.

As far as I can tell, this lot didn't sell (it was estimated at $300-500K). I kind of like it, myself. Made in 1989, "Two Ballerinas" by Juan Munoz (1953-2001) is made of bronze, and measures 40 inches high. The inlaid wood base was included. This pair was taken at Christie's on November 11, 2008. One chip is slightly blurrier than the other; I tried using the unsharp mask to improve it. Sony CyberShot, cha-cha, PSCS4.
