This has been an interesting series. Sorry to see that you still have snow. We are thrilled with our 40 - 50 degree F weather, yesterday I worked at getting the garden ready to till. I have my peas planted and are anxiously waiting them to pop through. Maybe I'll get some lettuce planted while I'm off school for a week of spring break. Maybe I'll even have a chance to work on some views, I have some shots I am anxiously waiting to work on now that birthdays are over and the grading period has ended.
On the log splitting - I guess I prefer the hard way because it is such a wonder example of inertia, momentum, sweet spot, etc and not brut strength!! There is nothing so satisfying as swinging an ax and to hear the crack of wood when you know you are not the strongest person around.
