Thank you Tim.  If I come across a nice high resolution image of the Blue Dragon I'll certainly save it and try to do a conversion eventually.  You may have noticed the images on Rico Home's web site are not for commercial use and you can not copy them with the normal means.

Brian,
Your fantasy conversions are my favorites. I hope you continue the trend and convert the Blue Dragon as well.

Flash,

I went to the site http://www.ricoholm es.com/ and copied this info about the original image.  It confirms your suspicion of 3D modeling (the artist says partly modeled in Maya).  He's a UK guy that fell in love with Sweden and stayed there.  He woks for Team 17 (a company that produces software games).  His web site has some of his renderings, links, tutorials, sketch books and 3D modeling info.  Below is the info related to this particular image he calls...

Swamp Dragon

Partly modelled in Maya, partly painted in photoshop. This image is my step into making the dragon series. After the overwhelming response to the Blue Dragon (here) I decided to make a series of images based on the colours.
Being a glutton for punishment I decided to do the Green Dragon as the next in the series -to get the most difficult one out of the way. It's incredibly hard to make a picture dramatic using just green colours as a theme.

Well done; the depth suits the atmosphere very well. It almost looks as though it was originally conceived as a 3D image. The color seems to cause a minor rivalry in the darkest areas of this anaglyph version..

~ Green Demon ~
 (2D-3D conversion)

I made up the above name for this image which I found as wallpaper on the web.  I didn't see a signature but there was a web address on the image, www.ricoholmes. com .  They called this one "Fantasy_Wallpapers __41_.jpg" .

Converted using SPM.

Cheers,
Brian
