Subject: [Anaglyphs] A Celestial Odyssey
Want to take a trip through the solar system and beyond, encountering spacecraft both past and future? Here's a video I made using the Celestia space simulation program with add-ons from the Celestia Motherlode. It was designed to be shown at the planetarium on the University of Louisville campus where, when projected on the dome, gave a real impression of being in space.Disclaimer: Its impact and depth will be much diminished when viewing it on your computer monitor. It's like the difference between watching something at an Imax theater compared to seeing it on a six-inch TV screen. Use a dark filter over your right eye for 3D. Hopefully you will still find it enjoyable, and be sure to turn up your speakers to hear the spacey-sounding soundtrack. The faster your computer and internet connection, the smoother it will play. For best results, click on the four-arrow icon on the lower right of the picture to open it full-screen on a black background (leave scaling off).Duke
