I'm a believer!!! This is my first SDM
stereoview made with a pair of Canon A590s. Taken at Stone Arch Bridge Park
outside of Jeffersonville, New York
I waited for the wind to pick up to test the sync
capabilities against the swaying branches in the upper foreground. Aside
from a little sharpening in
Photoshop, as well as reducing the size of the file for
posting I made no corrections of any kind.
I also made some more views to further test my rig, and
I'll post them shortly. But I simply was so amazed by the results that I
felt compelled to get
this one out to the Group.
I am also impressed by the capabilities of this model
camera, with its many features, as well as full manual control, usually found
only in much more
costly cameras. I have another pair of Canons, each
of which cost more that the two A590s combined. I have them mounted in
vertical (portrait)
mode, and will load the appropriate SDM software into
their respective SD cards.
It's looking like the time to retire my 3D Advantage
beam-splitter rig.
