Hi my dear friends !
From two weeks ago I had been out spending my new year vacation. I had a trip to north of Iran (Caspian seaside).
One day i went to have a short trip with the "tele cabins' you see on my pictures background.
I was standing on the parking lot surpisingly gazing at the cabins, while thinking myself "how this highly engineered 2 killometers tele cabin can work with tilted or converged poles!" . the right side poles looks completely tilted to me eyes!!!
(Check my first attchment or the pic1- that is exactly what I saw there)
on my Pic1 my stereo bar was almost level with the floor under my feet. at the time I couln't feel the slope. on my feeling it was a horizontal floor.
Soon I found that i shouldn't trust my eyes because I was standing on a floor that was highly sloping !!
I took another picture (Pic2) but this time, first I carefully noticed the bubble level on my stereo bar before shooting my picture.
On my second shot, my stereo bar was exactly level to the horizon.
as you see on my Pic2, the camera eye doesn't make mistake like the human eyes. when my cameras were horizontally level then the poles look completely vertical and also parallel to eachother ! wow isn't it so interesting !!
I got a lesson from that interesting situation;
"I shouldn't trust my eyes and always check the horizon level (by my bubble level) before shooting my pictures" !
Happy spring to you all,
Shahrokh.
