I tried jp2 some time ago but saw no advantage to
its use. I too am not happy with the degree of compression that I'm forced
to use
in order to make my postings
accessible for some members of the Group. But as long as we have to use the
approximate 400k limit I have
to either rely on compression, or shrink my files
to smaller proportions for posting. I'll continue to honor the
rules with the understanding
that the downside is often the overall loss of
image quality.
