Scientific pictures should not be 'improved' by subjective human eye.
It's plain wrong!
I've marked 2d->3d conversion problems on Gug's image and attached it
below.
1: the gap in the hill
2. moved rock with some sand (now it's in the air)
3. to the right of this rock there is unusual void.
I's OK to make conversions of people or ordinary scenes, but it's not
OK to arbitrarily add depth info when it may be false and then call it
'scientific'
that art is worthless, but mixed with science it may produce
unexpected and usually undesired results).
