Marshall,
First, thank you for recognizing the good and not so good qualities you
observe in someone's anaglyph. Regardless of what you believe, I have
accepted and learned from it over the years.
Second, I believe you read most all the emails in this group. I've
explained on numerous occasions why I use the Floating Window. I still
don't think you get it. In this case the cat's tail caused a harsh ghost
which for me was more distracting than the FW used to remove it.
The FW is a tool I use for this reason. If the ghost is reduced or removed
I guess the FW did it's job and the viewer doesn't see why it was used.
I know that you're more tolerant of ghosts than others basically because
you've told yourself there's not much you can do except put up with them.
Well, sometimes there IS something you can do. Some people find it hard to
get used to something different. I understand that. That however
doesn't mean it should be banned. I'd like you to please stop putting us
down when we're trying to improve an image. Instead, try and understand
why it's used and how it can be used for the betterment of the
anaglyph.
Thank you,
Brian

pier
It's great to see a close-up with no often-associated
divergence, making for a very comfortable viewing experience. This is an
overall beautiful view, with excellent composition, and sharp
throughout.
The frame, OTOH is an unpleasant distraction.
Why don't some members get back to good stereo photography, and leave the unneccesary effects behind?
