Very nice shot, Marshall. I have almost every one of the
CDs visible in the picture. The B-52s first album – I was just 16
when that album came out. I borrowed it from the library and nearly wore
it out. I constantly play that CD as I love every song on that album (and
their second album as well).

I never
outgrow most of my toys, but I send some of them to easy retirement atop
various bookcases in my home office.
At front left
is the microscope my father gave me in 1956. Behind it and barely visible
is a cup from my wife
commemorating
Barack Obama's election victory.
The the left
of the Obama cup is a wire model of New York City's George Washington
Bridge. In front of the bridge
are
eyeglasses containing 3D holograms of Peace symbols that my wife bought at the
nearby Bethel Woods museum.
To the right
of the glasses is a model of a London double-decker bus from my wife when she
visited England.
To the right
of the bus is a pair of mini-binoculars. Finally, at upper right is a
portion of my former New Jersey
license plate
bearing the inscription, "N DEPTH," a reference to my stereo
photography passion.
All this
stuff is too good to throw away, yet collectively are reminders
of the junk--I mean, TREASURES that I will
probably
accumulate till the day I die !!
