Subject: Visit to Margaretville

On a business-related matter I drove for the first time to Margaretville, New York.  The village is about a one-hour's drive,

northwest of my home, and situated in Delaware County.  A few weeks ago I posted some views of the Pepacton Reservoir

and the nearby town of Downsville.  The road to Margaretville also runs along the reservoir, but in the opposite direction.

Once I finished with the business aspect I explored the downtown on foot, with dual-mounted Canon 950s, SDM-ready.

 

This first view shows the nearly empty Main Street which will become more crowded once schools let out and tourists arrive

at June's end.
