Taken on my first and only (so far) visit to Sotheby's, this shows Aristide Maillol's "Étude pour La Pensée," which measures 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) high and was made in 1930. The bronze sculpture was estimated to bring $50-75 thousand at auction. Olympus FE 1510, cha-cha, Photoshop. Flash
